Vipin Kumar

Vipin Kumar started as PhD exchange student from Indian Institute of Technology Madras India in Prof. Gothelf’s research group in 2013. In 2014, he joined as Postdoc research scholar in a project, which was aimed for the development of Saporin-oligonucleotide conjugation for the cancer therapeutics. After spending two and half years in Prof. Gothelf’s research group, he moved to other research group in the Chemistry Department at Aarhus University. In July 2018, Vipin got an opportunity to join Prof. Gothelf group as Assistant Prof. (non-tenured) for the development of chemical strategies of bioconjugation and the synthesis of acyclic threoninol nucleic acid (aTNA) for the recognition of natural nucleic acid and drug delivery. In July 2019, Vipin joined postdoc position in State University of New York at Binghamton, where he is working on design and synthesis of Peptide Nucleic Acids for the recognition of double stranded DNA and RNA.
