Thursday 01 December the long awaited cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) facility for high-resolution structural biology at Aarhus University will be inaugurated.

The facility has been under development for the past couple of years with large investments from different funding agencies and hiring of expert personel. The facility is centered on a flagship Titan Krios microscope with post-Quantum Gatan K2 detector and screening microscopes.

The event is followed by a 2-day PhD course providing an overview of the cryo-electron microscopy methodology presented by experts in the field.
