We are proud to announce that Hendrik Bulthaupt has been awarded the highly competitive Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship for his project, “Backbone-Optimized OligonucleotideS for Therapeutics (BOOST).” This prestigious fellowship, funded by the European Commission as part of the Horizon Europe Program, supports outstanding researchers in advancing innovative and high-impact projects across disciplines.

In the lab of Prof. Kurt Gothelf at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) Hendrik’s research focuses on the chemical modification of oligonucleotides, addressing key challenges in nucleic acid chemistry and paving the way for novel therapeutic solutions.
