I have a Master Degree in Medical Biology (Human Biology) from Utrecht University, The Netherlands and a Doctor Degree (PhD) in Biochemistry from Erasmus University Rotterdam. My academic journey has given me a solid understanding of biological sciences and research methodologies.
I have extensive experience in fundraising and providing guidance and support in the whole application proces. I communicate funding sources and programs, and strategies and perform several other ad-hoc tasks, allowing researchers to fully focus on their research.
In addition to my primary fundraising responsibilities, I provide administrative support to the iNANO/Chemistry Business Committee. I am actively involved as a member of several key committees and networks, including the iNANO Research Committee, the Academic Council for Natural Sciences, the NAT Fundraising Network, and the RSO Fundraiser Forum. Furthermore, I organize Brainnovation Day annually, an event dedicated to fostering collaboration between research and business sectors.
