The Carlsberg Foundation has recently awarded DKK 204 million to 134 young researchers and associate professors with particularly visionary research ideas and projects. 30 researchers from AU have together received more than DKK 47 million, and 6 of the researchers are currently or formerly iNANO affiliated.

Associate Professors Menglin Chen and Nina Lock, who are heading research groups at Department of Engineering, have each received a Carlsberg Foundation Young Researcher Fellowship. 

Postdoc Lasse Hyldgaard Klausen has received a Carlsberg Foundation Reintegration Fellowship and returns from 2 years at Stanford University (US) in order to continue his research at iNANO in Associate Professor Mingdong Dongs research group.

Postdoc Emil Laust Kristoffersen has received a Carlsberg Foundation Internationalisation Fellowship and is conducting his research at MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (UK). Emil was a PhD student in Associate Professor Birgitta R. Knudsens research group and subsequently he was a postdoc in Associate Professor Victoria Birkedals research group.

Postdoc Kasper Trans Møller has received a Carlsberg Foundation Reintegration Fellowship and returns from 2 years at Cutin University (Australia) in order to conduct his research at Department of Engineering, Aarhus University. Kasper was a PhD student and Postdoc in Professor Torben René Jensens research group.

Postdoc Karen Kræmmer Schelde has received a Carlsberg Foundation Internationalisation Fellowship and is conducting her research at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (US). Karen was a PhD student in Professor Jørgen Kjems' research group and subsequently she was a postdoc in Associate Professor Ken Howards research group.
