Spin-out tech-company from Aarhus University acquired for triple-digit million amount
An investment fund have acquired and invested over DKK 100 million in the tech-company, RadiSurf, a spin-out from Department of Chemistry and iNANO. This will make it possible to scale the production to supply world’s largest industries.
Associate Professor Steen Uttrup Pedersen and Professor Kim Daasbjerg from Department of Chemistry and Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) co-founded RadiSurf in 2015 to commercialize adhesion technologies based on polymer brushes.
Now KCK Ltd., a family office private equity investment fund with worldwide presence, acquires and invests over DKK 100 million in RadiSurf.
This investment will contribute to develop RadiSurf into a leading supplier of advanced nano-based surface enhancement processes to some of the worldʼs largest industries, including medical, automotive, electronics, and sustainable energy production/storage
Chief Executive Officer and founder, Mikkel Kongsfelt, is a former Nanoscience student from iNANO at Aarhus University.
