Rings, Holes & Circuits (Made From Nucleic Acids)

Rings, Holes, and Circuits? A strange title. Well, it is just the (desperate) attempt to cover very different aspects of our work:

The first part of the talk will deal with synthetic gene circuits in bacteria and quantitative gene expression studies using microfluidic chemostats. The second part covers some of our recent advances in DNA nanotechnology -DNA-based membrane channels and their interactions with lipid bilayer vesicles, and the realization of giant rotaxanes made from DNA origami.

Host: Associate professor Victoria Birkedal, Interdisciplinanry Nanoscience Center, Aarhus University
