Insider tips on getting your work published
The pressure on scientists to “publish or perish” is higher than ever. This is why it is becoming increasingly important to not only report important results, but also to frame your results with an informative and coherent manuscript. Scientific publishing is rapidly changing from submission to peer review to social media coverage of published articles.
We will discuss here a brief overview of
- how to attract positive attention from an editor
- how to write a manuscript that gets noticed by your peers
- how to respond to referee comments, and
- how to market your article once it is online.
Publishing is changing rapidly and it is important to be familiar with the latest standards and newest innovations.
