Olga obtained her Master’s and PhD in molecular biophysics at University of Warsaw in Jacek Jemielity’s group. Her main focus was on researching the impact of nucleotide modifications within the poly(A) tail of mRNA on stability of transcripts and protein interactions. In 2024 she moved to Aarhus to start her first postdoctoral project at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, where she worked on developing a CRISPR-Cas-based technology to modulate stability and translational properties of mRNA targets. Currently she is working as a postdoc in the group of Julián Valero, focusing on new antiviral strategies against influenza by targeting viral surface proteins.
