Rasmus started as a PhD student

We want to welcome Rasmus to the Valero group. He will be working on his PhD-project "..." for the upcoming years.

MBG annual meeting

May 2024 - Meetings and Conferences

This year Ida and Thea represented the Valero lab at the MBG annual meeting, where they presented their research projects with a poster and got to learn about research performed by other PhDs and Postdocs at MBG. Throughout the lectures they got insight into ongoing research on solving biological questions through Cryo-EM imaging and Zebrafish-related studies. Finishing the day with a joined dinner, they got to meet and mingle with other faculty members in a relaxed atmosphere.

iNANO Annual Meeting

May 2024 - Meetings and Conferences

We joined the iNANO annual meeting, where we presented the research and methods used in the Valero lab and got to learn about research performed by other labs at iNANO. Throughout the lectures we got insight into ongoing research of Quantum Computing and the endless possibilities using DNA-origami. Finishing the day with a joined dinner, we got to meet and mingle with other faculty members in a relaxed atmosphere.

Lab Retreat

May 2024 - Activities

Together with the Kjems lab and Andersen lab we enjoyed two wonderful days in Molslaboratoriet, talking about science, learning how to improve scientific writing and outreach and getting to know each other.

Thea started as a PhD student

April 2024 - Group

We want to welcome Thea to the Valero group. She will be working on her PhD-project "Cryo-EM Aided Design of Multivalent Aptamer Nanostructures (CAD-MAN) for Enhanced Biomolecular Targeting" for the upcoming years.

Mica started as a PhD student

December 2023 - Group

We want to welcome Mica to the Valero group. She will be working on her PhD-project "artificial enzymes" for the upcoming years.

Ida started as a PhD student

August 2023 - Group

We want to welcome Ida to the Valero group. She will be working on her PhD-project "...novel RNA" for the upcoming years.
