Ultrafast electron dynamics
Our group is using powerful analytical tools (synchrotron radiation-based photoelectron spectroscopy, time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy, nano-scale transport measurements and scanning tunnelling microscopy) to study the electronic properties and electron dynamics in quantum materials. We are mostly working with the surfaces of semimetals, topological insulators and with novel two-dimensional materials such as graphene or single-layer transition metal dichalcogenides.
