I am an experimental condensed matter physicist with a strong interest in atomic and electronic structure. Specifically, I am using powerful analytical tools (synchrotron radiation-based photoelectron spectroscopy, photoelectron diffraction, time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy, nano-scale transport measurements and scanning tunnelling microscopy) to study the electronic properties and electron dynamics in quantum materials, as well as their interplay with the dynamic crystal structure. I am mostly working with the surfaces of semimetals, topological insulators and with novel two-dimensional materials such as graphene or single-layer transition metal dichalcogenides.
