Professor Otzen expressed his excitement in the press release by the Carlsberg Foundation about the appointment:
"I am very pleased and honored to be elected to the board of the Carlsberg Foundation. The Carlsberg Foundation is Denmark’s oldest commercial foundation with a unique role in Danish research and cultural life. By virtue of its history and its structure, the foundation is unmistakably Danish, but at the same time it has great international impact and in many ways acts as a global role model. Becoming a member of the foundation’s board is both a privilege and an obligation, which requires great dedication and commitment. I am very much looking forward to contributing to the foundation’s work," says Daniel Otzen, who has been a member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters since 2010.
We congratulate Professor Daniel Otzen on this well-deserved appointment, which reflects his ongoing dedication to excellence in research and education at iNANO.
