This information session will provide an overview of the opportunities available to staff under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange Scheme (MSCA RISE).  The session will be led by RISE Project Officer – representative of the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission in Brussels.  Attendees will also hear from staff involved in RISE projects.

RISE promotes international and inter-sectoral collaboration through research and Innovation staff exchanges and the sharing of knowledge and best practice. Research staff at all levels, as well as managerial, technical and administrative staff are eligible for staff exchanges between participating organisations. A RISE grant also provides funding towards the organisation of workshops and events involving the partners.  RISE offers the opportunity to build partnerships with both European partners (inter-sectoral) and with non-European Partners.

At the end of the session, you will have:

  • an understanding of the aims of RISE and the types of projects that can be funded
  • an understanding of the key considerations involved in the planning, writing and submitting of a RISE proposal

Host: Associate Professor Mingdong Dong, Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center, Aarhus University
