A paper from the group of Troels Skrydstrup along with Anders Lindhardt has been upgraded to a "highly cited paper".

The paper received enough citations to place it in the top 1% of the academic field of chemistry based on a highly cited threshold for the field and publication year.

The paper published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society in 2011, describes the efforts of this team to develop new carbon monoxide releasing molecules in combination with a new type of reactor for the safe use of this gaseous but toxic molecule in chemical reactions. A company, SyTracks A/S, has been established in the same year, which commercializes this technology.

The paper is entitled Ex Situ Generation of Stoichiometric and Substoichiometric 12CO and 13CO and Its Efficient Incorporation in Palladium Catalyzed Aminocarbonylations.
