New Nanosurf SPM Solutions - Pushing Boundaries

Since its beginning in 1997 Nanosurf has endeavoured to create first of their kind solutions for the AFM market. Since introducing our SPM teaching equipment over 20 years ago we have developed a series of unique research products with never before seen technology such as the Flex-ANA for automated, reliable nanomechanical testing and the Flex-FPM hollow cantilever AFM for manipulation of cells and bacteria. This presentation will introduce the latest SPM developments soon to be released for both the material science and biological/medical markets:

  • CX: a state-of -the-art SPM controller with the lowest noise floor on the market (output noise 11nV/sqrt(Hz) @ 10Hz, 0V)
  • Cytomass: a tool to directly monitor the change in mass of a living cell with pg mass resolution and ms time resolution
  • P6: a new class of scan head featuring photothermal excitation, direct drive scanning and unobstructed optical access
  • ARAC: An SPM for reliable atomic resolution imaging in ambient conditions using qPlus sensors from Prof. Franz Giessibl

Host: Associate Professor Jeppe Vang Lauritsen, iNANO & Dept. of Physics and Astronomy, Aarhus University
