We perform fundamental research in the area of soft condensed matter. We typically work with lipids, proteins, surfactants, polymers, block copolymers and colloidal particles that have relevance in areas such as biological systems, dairy products, pharmaceuticals and detergents. Using small angle X-ray scattering as the main technique we can characterize these systems in terms of form, size, organisation and polydispersity on a length scale of typically 1-400 nm.
On this website you can find examples of research projects, information on our group and get information on the techniques we use.
