I research how family and neighborhood social and environmental factors influence the risk of overweight in children and adolescents. Using advanced epidemiological methods and longitudinal data from Danish registers and cohort studies, I aim to generate new knowledge to support more targeted and effective prevention strategies. I hold a professional bachelor’s degree in nutrition and health and a Master’s in Health Science from Aarhus University.
I work with epidemiological research on the causes of overweight in children and adolescents. My responsibilities include data management, statistical analysis, and scientific writing. I present my findings both orally and in writing, and I also teach epidemiology. My work contributes to developing knowledge that can strengthen preventive efforts and improve public health.
