As a Postdoc I work within the field of inflammation and cardiometabolic disease. I investigate if cardiometabolic healthy individuals have an enhanced endogenous capability to resolve inflammation.
During my PhD, I gained technical and scientific knowledge in the field of chronic kidney disease. I investigated gender differences, including the role of sex hormones in the development of renal fibrosis and impaired water handling in chronic kidney disease.
