Professor Poul Nissen has been awarded a Distinguished Innovator Grant of DKK 6 million from the Novo Nordisk Foundation to explore membrane proteins related to heart, metabolism and brain disorders.

Today, it is almost impossible to recycle clothing that is woven with mixed fibres. For example, running clothes are often made from a blend of elastane, which gives the garment stretch and adaptability, and either cotton, merino wool or nylon. New technology makes it possible to separate the fibres so they can be recycled. Photo: Colourbox.dk
