The group is located at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) at Aarhus University and is part of the Inorganic Section at Dept. of Chemistry. In addition to own instrumentation, which counts a modern lab space, a state-of-the-art X-ray microscope and associated optical microscope, a nanoindenter, and a rheometer, we thus have wider access to instrumentation at both iNANO and Dept. of Chemistry. This includes, but is not limited to, several X-ray diffractometers, electron microscopes, and NMR spectrometers. The group is further associated with the AU Centre for Integrated Materials Research (iMAT) and is the main actor behind the Aarhus X-ray Imaging Alliance (AXIA).

Additionally, we are part of the ESS lighthouse initiatives on Structure of Materials in Real Time (SMART) and on 3D imaging of hard materials - SOLID.
